Wow! Impressive progress. Initially I had it set to gapless, and it was doing the weird transitions. I'll put it back to gapless and see what happens with more experimentation. You're right... it's getting info from the active zone. Even though I use Zones, I only ever play from one zone at the same time. What I did is make a zone for slim and set the output to rear speakers (which is connected to an outdoor speaker, turned off when not in use) so I don't hear it from my PC speakers and the SB. So I will have to manually make my "Slim" zone active when I was to use SB this way.
