Ah. I think my recent problems with the SlimServer service stopping might have been due to the last version of your plugin Michael. Hmm... I don't quite follow that thread. Is that issue closed? Dan's statement makes me think I don't have to do anything in my plugins :-)
I shall update and increase time out.
I thought I had fixed the issue where a timeout would lock the plugin. Which versions are you running?
It seems to me that the obvious way to do this would be to adapt your Music Info plugin (although there may be other ways I am not aware of).
Have you ever tried using the COMMENT tag? It's not there by default, but you can create it in the server settings. And I have no idea whether this will work. But it's pretty simple to test.
