Having looked atthe screen capture and ignoreig any discussuion about Flac as it is not normal/ If your OS is Windows - don't make HLS first pref. If you are in the UK - I believe DASH has higher bit rate (i.e. better quality) for on-demand There is no longer any FlasMP3 services. There is an HTTP/AAC live stream for R3 for UK users - if you to play it will be played outside of BBCiPlayer. so my recommendation would be Live (FlashAAC will never be used) DASH > HLS > MP3 > FlashAAC On-Demand - there are no MP3 on demand programs.
