We then went back to home screen to search for a particular track, selected it & tried to play it straightaway whilst one of the playlist tracks was playing (by selecting "Play" in context menu which comes up in Android SqueezeCntrl app on Samsung S5). Nothing happened.
Could you confirm the behaviour with the players's UI, Squeezeplay, web UI or other?
