What do you mean by "some music"? Does it play or not?
is running I keep getting a series of bursts of 4 CMD.EXE windows boxes opening up continuously, as if it is trying to install something it can't find.
That certainly isn't right. Did you install the MSVC libraries required (in 32-bit!)?
Further questions: - what is the "IO:Socket:SSL module"; do I need it, and if so, how do I install it?
It's part of LMS on Windows. No worries there.
- what is a Spotify 'Client ID', and how do I get one? I do have playlists with over 500 songs.
You'd have to create an account on https://developer.spotify.com and create an app ID.
