Well not exactly the one you link to, which has a 2.8" screen. I bought one with larger screen, but in principle probably the same besides screen size I guess: https://shop.max2play.com/en/raspberry-pi-2-bundle-7-display.html I cannot comment on Max2Play vs piCorePlayer or other solutions. I have only tried this. I also only use it as a player, but yes it can work as both player and LMS server at once if needed. The only catch I see is that the player cannot connect directly to the mysqueezebox.com cloudserver because it's not official Logitech hardware. No problem for me though. Haven't used mysqueezebox.com in years. And LMS plugins which depends on an account or configuration on mysqueezebox.com also still works. It's just the direct connection of player that isn't possible. If you purchase one of these kits you get a free 3 months Max2Play license included, which is probably needed for the initial setup. Once you have the right plugins installed (actually comes 99% preconfigured with kit), you don't need the license anymore. You probably get more "street credit" for a piCorePlayer solution.
