I almost posted a similar comment yesterday but didn't because I thought not appropriate for this thread... but now that you mention it! I am finding tracks coming through from Spotify to have an over emphasized bottom end compared to other sources via LMS such as 320 MP3 files on my server and FLAC files up to 24/192. Sounds coming from my turntable (vinyl LPs) are much more in line in this regard to my MP3 and FLAC files, and show the Spotify tracks to be inferior. There was a time when I thought the more bass the better, but not when it is a bit "muddy" and over emphasized. Muddy might be the wrong word, but you know what I mean! New thread?
