Hi everybody. I have been using AlienBBC for several months now and have fallen in love with it. However, I would like to be able to record the occasional program. I have searched for a simple method to do this with no joy. I have seen a solution using mplayer command line switches but I am unsure how to apply this. Also I assume that this method will record the complete stream rather than just a single program. My OS is Windows.
I tend to control the SB directly using its remote rather than the web interface so being able to start and stop recording using the handset would be ideal but I guess that it is probably not feasible. I can connect to the slimserver using terminal services so having an application run on the server which could directly record the stream being sent to the SB seems to be the most practical answer. I would be grateful if anyone could suggest such an application or offer any help which would allow me to easily record programs at will.
