I see a similar, perhaps the same, issue. When I start a playing session, using Spotify Connect, nothing happens on the squeezebox, at first. If I wait 10-15 secs the player in question turns on and starts playing. At this point the sounds is a bit jumpy, start:stop a few times. After that first song everything appears rock solid. Until I stop, when I sometimes need to do a few play:pause cycles to have Spotty stop playing.
