Hey all, I've updated the zip in the original post with fixes for both the hang issue (where the client perpetually displays "Retrieving...") and the "Already logged in as..." issue.
For those interested: The hang issue was caused by not "unblocking" the client when a refresh of the login failed. The "Already logged in as..." was caused by an bug in the refresh login code (which also caused the refresh login to fail, causing the client to hang with "Retrieving...").
