The volume popup shows because iPeng restores the volume your device had set before you entered iPeng. There are several ways in which iPeng modifies the volume while you are in the App. One case, of course, is using the player, , in which case the server controls the volume. Another case is using the volume keys although this change is now only minimal in most cases and only for edge cases.
