As I said I don't support HLS (I have no Apple stuff to be the reference player) - it is as Triode left it. Most of the settings in the BBCiPlayer plugin now only affect DASH such as bitrate and delay. My theory. For some reason there is a long delay in setting up the transcoding chain - if there isn't enough data "ready" - it chokes ("rebuffering"). By starting the live stream a bit before "realtime" it enables a burst of data to be fetched and so kick start the transcoding chain with no delay. It is very unusual that you need to keep the setting at 3 mins as that is a huge amount of data to prefetch. This isn't a VM or similar ? Is the clock on your system set up to get "network" time ? To get to the bottom of this problem - I need to get Win10 but I have no other incentive to do so as it is not my main system. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=106409 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
