Guys: don't mess with the plugin installer. You're asking for problems.
Did you wait a minute or two after you got the reboot prompt? Last time somebody reported issues, this fixed it.
Enable debug logging for plugin.extensions and server.plugins. Re-try the installation. Send the server.log.zip file.
