It can vary according to the station and sometimes how long you pause. Some stations using simple http/mp3 or http/aac will disconnect if paused for more than than x minutes otherwise will continue a paused stream. For HLS and DASH which have chunked http (i.e. a playlist of many time stamped URLs each a small chunks of audio) - the paused URL can become invalid after a time periond - this is the issue slartbiartfast is commenting on (although I thought I had "fixed" the issues of long pauses with BBCiplayer plugin but maybe not ). The point is that with streamed radio - there are different outcomes/behaviours depending on the station and both pause / stop should be provided to give user complete control. With SB3 etc. - long pause was a stop. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109624 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
