Yeah, not 100% sure why its obsolete. It also has 1 other advantage, there is no "Insecure site" warning when entering text! This warning is *really* annoying, I've tried changing the settings to suppress it, but it still shows. Would be OK if it was temproary, or you could dismiss it - but once its shown, its there until refresh. I was going to install a https->http proxy on my pi to work-around it, but then chrome would complain about self-signed certificates :( Also - did you have to post that image?
