There's a really useful (but perhaps somewhat unknown) feature in the default skin that I'd love to see in Material.
In the default skin, the "Choose Player" dropdown allows you to turn any player on or off with a single click - without having to select that player or open a new dialog or page. It would be handy to have this in Material in both desktop and mobile versions.
