I am running Spotty on my media server at home, feeding into my whole
house audio system. When I am in one of the rooms, and I load Spotify
on my iPhone, I see the option "Connect to a Device" and the option to
select "Listening on MyServerName" and a speaker icon to the left.
I select this option and mostly I don't see what is playing.
Occasionally, I do see what is playing. But I have not figured out why
sometimes it shows and sometimes it does not.
You'd only see playing information if you started playback from the
Spotify app itself. If you control Spotty's activity from LMS, then
that's not shown in Spotify.
