Did you enable media server features on your NAS?
Yes - the standard Synology Media Server is running.
Some other media server, like a DLNA server or similar? Synology NAS
come with their own.
(and BTW: I'd recommend you update your LMS, see pinkdot's great work
https://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?108960)
Are you using multiple accounts?
Yes, I configured several Spotify accounts within Spotty
That would explain why you'd only see some accounts: when local
announcements are not possible (daemon is crashing, like in your case),
then Spotify would only see players through their APIs and servers.
Which means that if a player had been used by user X, user Y would not
see it.
Is there a log file from the Spotty daemon somewhere in the file system
to identify the root cause for the crash?
The root cause most likely is a conflict with some other application
using bonjour/avahi.
