There's one thing that is strange but maybe has nothing to do with the plugin. The difference in the loudness is sometimes really high. You play one song, almost hear nothing and increase the volume...NExt song could be upt to about 10db more (I did a measure with a few examples).
Do you have normalization enabled (Settings/Player/Audio)? If so, make sure you haven't disabled it for Spotty (Settings/Player/Spotty).
