I finally have a Google Chromecast device ... a gifted Nest Home Mini (Google Home Mini v2).
One thing I noticed ... if I play Radio France stations with my plug-in to get the meta info then the song changes do not get recognised by the Chromecast device - so it always thinks that the current song is the first one played. I am pretty sure that using the UPnP or AirPlay plugins from Philippe did not exhibit this issue. The device was discovered without a problem and I left all of the settings as default (including sending LMS data to the device).
