Just wondering, since I saw you programmed many great plugins for slimserver.
Couldn't you extend the concept a little? I remember a few years ago on my first linux box I discovered a program called fortune. Which displayed a funny line everytime it was called. There's some similar programs for windows out there, but none with the awesome database of lines/sayings of the original fortune.
