Once again I am trying to get this to work. Now I have an odd situation as I am not using a hardware renderer but a software one on my phone or DAP. I am a Roon user and I know this does work with it for many users and it does in my situaion up to a certain point. However I am struggling to get the now playing to be in sync as it goes out almost instantly as the track timeline does not start instantly, by the end of the track its out and you get the start of the next one but UI in Roon is stlll showing its playing the previous track it gets worse over time to. I am using a software UPnP renderer on my Phone called USB Audio Pro as it allows bit perfect playback to external usb dac and iworks with MQA to my many portable DACs and is not limited to Androids normal limitations, which unfortunatlely the Roon app is. Tried the squeezebox apps to and they either stick at 48/24 or I have to upsample all content which i would rather not do as I loose MQA.
I have tried so many combinations of settings and nothing seems to work but I might be missing something. Any ideas would be great. I guess its likely down to the renderer not feeding back properly, it doesnt seem to get any artwork or anything either. Tried it from LMS to ands its the same so its not necsessarily a Roon issue.
