Flipflip is the author of SSODS. AlienBBCis preconfigured with SSODS and should work out of the box - so perhaps there is something different in DS-207 and so I think you could PM flipflip.
In the meantime. If there are RTSP boxes checked in Server Settings/Filetypes then slimserver can "see" mplayer-stdout.
