Sorry for my lack of knowledge on IGMP, but what does this mean - should we disable the IGMP function on the router for best performance of the UPnpBridge? Or we should somehow adjust the IGMP settings regarding snooping? I had some problems with the bridge a long time ago, and I think enabling IGMP on the router helped (as per your advice to check IGMP settings). But I think I changed a few more settings of the router then. Though, now sometimes the songs only start to play after a delay and not from the start of the song, so there is a pause of silence in the beginning of every song (as I have described in an earlier 'post' (https://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?103728-Announce-UPnPBridge-integrate-UPnP-DLNA-players-with-LMS-(squeeze2upnp)&p=970054&viewfull=1#post970054). As mentioned, this does not happen frequently and restarting the plugin solves the issue temporarily, so I can live with this. But if this could be solved permanently by changing some settings of the router, it would be great. Though, there are not many settings for IGMP on my router - I can only toggle the IGMP and select it's version (between IGMPv2 and IGMPv3, IGMPv2 is currently selected), also I can toggle and select the version of MLD, which is used for IPv6, but probably it shouldn't affect the bridge. Also there are settings for UDPXY, which is currently disabled. "UDPXY is a UDP-to-HTTP multicast traffic relay daemon: it forwards UDP traffic from a given multicast subscription to the requesting HTTP client." Maybe someone who understands these things better than me could give an advice on how to configure them for best use with the bridge? ------------------------------------------------------------------------ mnd's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=69064 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=103728 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
