The problem is that I would have to build a cross-compile toolchain and that can be very painful. Cross-compile for different CPU but same OS is reasonably il easy but its more difficult and hacky when you want to do that for different OS. Currently, my Linux toolchain works for OSX, Solaris and FreeBSD and that took me a while. I cant have multiple VM for cross-compile, that would be way too complicated.
