Thank you very much for the heads up! Unfortunately I still can't find any info on the dev pages. I now wrote to Rudi to see whether he can help me out.
No answer yet, but new findings in the responses from the Deezer API. I just played a first FLAC track from Deezer. Now the real work to provide Deezer HiFi begins :-). (I can't guarantee a Christmas present!)
