Do you use C-3PO and do you have Convert and Resample enabled for FLAC?
If so, C-3PO will convert the flac-file into a 750 kbps stream I found out with 24/96k files with higher bitrates. This can have effect on the sound quality of the played files (hickups/stottering). My advice: disable Convert and Resample for FLAC-files. My server (Intel-NUC i7 with 16 GB mem) has enough capacity, the problem lies in the FLAC conversion.
