Everything still works fine without the ?ios. My understanding is that ?ios adds a few pixels of additional spacing between the iOS task switching bar you can see at the very bottom of your screen shot, and the "Wiedergabe" icon you see above it. Some people were triggering the iOS task switching when trying to use the Material Skin buttons at the bottom.
