You should definitely get some debug output with d_plugins enabled 
(announcing the plugin version and the indexing of the database, at 
least) - it's quite odd you get the lazy search menu on the player 
without any of that output.

Have a look and if you can't suss it just send me a private message and 
we'll arrange a pop-around - it shouldn't take much to fix it. You're 
not in the middle of those terrible roadworks, are you...?!
