If you retrieve the uuid from the script on your old install and paste that into the script in your new install, you won't need to re-link. You were very likely issued a new uuid when you re-did things, while the skill(s) as linked expect to be updated using the old one. Remember, you don't have an account at smartskills.tech so I don't store your uuid in an account. Your browser stores it in localStorage. If you change browsers or machine/browser combo or delete your browser cache, localStorage will not have your 'old' uuid. The 'successful update' message is just to prepare for automatic app-to-app account linking under the hood, should you go that route.
