Ok, that's good. What about the "prefer native format" in Settings/Advanced/File types?
(reworking wifi is not easy for me, plus it's only squeezeboxes that have problems, everything else, by now works under at least 802.11n and does not have any problem in my apartment)
Are you sure the SB problems are due to bandwidth? Eg. are the issues gone if you transcode to MP3 (just for testing)?
