Stuttering, short gaps of silence or short repeated audio on live RealAudio streams are all an indication of network problems. Network problem will not manifest themselves on "listen again".
If you hear problems on "Listen Again" then generally the problem is either a very serious network congestion or a problem with PC/mplayer.
