I'm having problems getting Alien BBC working with Slimserver 6.5 and OS 10.3.
I've followed the instructions regarding installation of mplayer and lame at the beginning of this thread and the almost identical instructions at the Alien site (x2systems.com/AlienBBC/installation) I've tried downloading LAME from the Blacktree site and also the thalictrum.com site. (The iTunes-lame download I really didn't know what to do with so I'm not sure now whether that is now loaded or not. But I've also tried the the LAME 3.97 package both before and after trying that one.) Alien appears on the Squeezebox and tries to connect but then stops. I've increased the time that it tries to get a radio stream. I've followed the instructions a few times now without success and I'm certain I've been downloading the correct files for my system. Are there any easy things to check?
