I've noticed that my installation of Alien BBC is now silent. I'm not
too sure when this happened but might have been when I upgraded to
7.0.1 (XP Pro)
I have just reinstalled AlienBBC using the 7.0 installer from the Alien
web site but still no joy, even though it appears to have installed
entirely correctly.
the MPlayer tezt worked fine.
When I use the web gui to control i9t it looks like the BBC stream I
atempt to play is continually attempting to restart (every 4 seconds or
so). If I look at a player screen it finishes connecting then just stays
at 00.00, i.e. the time does not increment.
Otherwise my players work correctly. Nothing has changed with my
firewall/virus checker since it was working correctly.
To answer the questions above:
1. What version of Windows?

2. Did you run the mplayer test on installation and did it work ?
Yes
3. To make sure AlienBBC plugin has been installed in the correct
directory. What are Plugin paths as detailed on the Settings/Status
page ? What is the full directory path of your AlienBBC Plugin.pm file
?
All appears correct and as it should be.

4. Do you have enabled RTSP entries in Settings/Advanced/Filetypes
Yes
5. For which interfaces does an AlienBBC Menu item appear: WebUI,
Softsqueeze, SB3, SBC.

6. For each of the devices where AlienBBC appears - do you get a list
of programs from the AlienBBC/Radio 4 A-Z ?
Yes
7. When you try to play a program (e.g. All in the Mind) - what
messages are displayed (e.g. connecting, unknown filetype), if it
connects what do you hear ?
Connecting, then the progress bar and time (but is static). No audio

Pasting the following URL (Radio 4 live) into the Tune-in box and
pressing play has exactly the same affect as choosing an BBC sttation
from Alien BBC(i.e. no audio)

I had bpa's enhanced BBC Alien plugin extention installed, but it seems
to have disappeared from my players' menu now that I've reinstalled
AlienBBC.
