I am also experiencing some hiccups in playback with dynamic playlists form time to time. SC-7.01 on Kubuntu and Dynamic Playlists 2.0.beta09 now, but had these problems also months ago with other versions.
Will see to upgrade to beta10 and to provide some logging info.
