Thanks for your response. I uninstalled/reinstalled SqueezeCenter to start from scratch, put CDplayer in the /server/plugins directory as specified in the installation instructions, and restarted SqueezeCenter. But now the plugin does not even appear in any of the Settings or Extra menus - is there another operation required to install it?
