Possible reasons
1. SC timedout mplayer - increase Radio Station timeout to 45 secs.
2. Router is blocking port 554 access from QNAP or somehow interferes
with datastream (e.g. apple Airport Extreme). Check on a QNAP command
line that mplayer can "play" a program and discard output. Use the
command

3. custom-convert.conf has some small typo resulting in output going
