Ok we might be narrowing in. I placed the QNAP in the DMZ AND port forwarded 554. I ran the code you suggested from the bin directory and got this: [~] # cd /volume1/SSODS/bin [/volume1/SSODS/bin] # mplayer-stdout -af volume=0,resample=44100:0:1,channels> -sh: mplayer-stdout: command not found <v/null rtsp://rmv8.bbc.net.uk/radio4/religion/actofworship.ra MPlayer dev-SVN-r26266-3.4.4 (C) 2000-2008 MPlayer Team CPU: ARM Creating config file: /root/.mplayer/config 115 audio & 237 video codecs Terminal type `xterm' is not defined. MPlayer interrupted by signal 13 in module: open_stream - MPlayer crashed. This shouldn't happen. It can be a bug in the MPlayer code _or_ in your drivers _or_ in your gcc version. If you think it's MPlayer's fault, please read DOCS/HTML/en/bugreports.html and follow the instructions there. We can't and won't help unless you provide this information when reporting a possible bug. -- Coppernob ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Coppernob's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2551 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=49363 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
