I've finally today updated to squeezecenter 7.1 (22170), and alienBBC 2.01, with Addon V3 for iPlayer.
I appreciate that the bbc are regularly changing things at the moment, but I had a problem tonight, and dig a bit of digging which I thought might be useful. If I go to "Home > Alien BBC > BBC iPlayer Radio > All BBC Radio 4" and select Archive Hour - Sat, 02 Aug 2008 I get the following message on the squeezebox "error: No items found in playlist" http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/aod/playlists/s7/qs/c0/0b/1900_bbc_radio_fourfm.ram and indeed if I wget that file on my server, or download via my browser it's zero sized. If I go to my browser on my laptop and go to the iPlayer site, and select the same article all works fine. however I don't have real player installed on my laptop.
