Thanks Danco. Using the "go" command is simple enough - and sure enough I just have "/usr/bin"...no local, which is fine for me.
I installed xAct by dragging the program into the Apps folder, and while the package does have a folder called stuff with another folder 'cdda2wav' within it - that folder just has a "cddl.schily.txt" file and a "changelog". Any further tips? I can certainly do a search and come up with things (both LAME for mac, and cdda2wav) but I want to make sure I'm using the right versions.
