Fed up with bug 10074 not beeing fixed (http://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=10073) I decided to write a small applet, which would make me able to switch headphones manually via a menu:
[image: http://wiki.slimdevices.com/uploads/1/1f/Headphone-switch.jpg] Please note: - this applet is working with a 7.3 firmware, couldn't get it to run under 7.4. - this applet will install a new menu-item 'headphone switch' on the main menu, which leads to the submenu you can see in the screenshot - you have to install the applet manually (!) as described in the wiki (http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.php/SqueezePlay_Applets). In my zip you wont find an embedded zip as described in the wiki, just upload the content (one folder with 2 files). If anyone wants to help to make this step easier, feel free to contact me. - you can download the applet from that wiki-page as well (just scroll down). Hope that you will have more fun with this applet. By the way: If you face the issue, that headphones aren't switching automatically, before you use this applet, PLEASE take the time, create a bugzilla account and vote for the bug !
