I usually stop SBS and delete FileCache. I've had weird caching/download problems with ED.
One where ED was using SHA checksums from old ZIPs and install failed but no notice given to user except thet are are told System needs to be restarted. Also I think because Windows CDplayer is a bit big, the download of CDplayer Plugin is sometimes incomplete (i.e filesize on PC is smaller than ZIP file) because I think reboot starts.
