Alien seems to have better "Favourite" handling of streams, especially with alarms.
The only other reason I'd like to keep the Alien functionality over iPlayer these days is that occasionally I encounter other real audio streams and I believe Alien is the only way to play these on my SqueezeBoxes. Do shout if I've got this wrong!!
