Some changes are needed to AlienBBC as BBC have stopped some RealAudio and the version no needs to be updated for 7.4.1.
The "categories" issues is a limitation placed by BBC I have an idea which may provide a similar feature for BBCiPlayer but putting effort into maintaining AlienBBC means new features have to be delayed. AlienBBC has more programs because the Web pages tend to be conservative and show about programs for about 8 days whereas BBCiPlayer uses an XML feed which imposes a very strict 7 days limit and also is a bit slower in makeing programs available. If you are in the UK then rebuffering is probably because you are getting higher speed streams - some non UK streams are also high speed than RealAudio such as local radio.
