Hello indifference engine, I just wanted to tell you, that I found your application per chance and I gave it a try. It was a long try indeed, but after several tries it does everything I want it to. Its really great and I love it, because now I love my SBC even more and I put away my ugly looking Remote Control. Thanks go also to bluegaspode for two things: 1. The link in the german forum brought me here by accident. 2. You posting about RC5x Codes helped me find out, how to control my Phillips-Rack-Amp.
Let me tell you some experiences, who might help some others to save time: 1. The Phillips Amp has an DCC Input, where my S-Classic ist connected to. It took me a long time to make SqueezIR tell the AMP how to connect to DCC. a) The device-No. ist 23 (was not told on the RC-5 Wiki, found it at last somewhere else...) b) the amp expects to be sent the Connect-Code repeatedly and very fast for a while, before it switches over to Source DCC, Tape, CD or Phono (but needs the Code only Once for switching to Tuner). (This I could see from the behaviour of my own RC and the flashing LED at the Amp). So in the end, that was the working Code: ROOT; ACTION ; Source-DCC ; Hold the key! ; DCC ; RC5X:23:063:-1 ;+RC5X:23:063:-1 The important thing is the '+'. Without the repeating frequency was too slow, so the Amp did not react. So, now I made myself some nice submenus for CD,Tape,Sound and so on and also the configuratede hard-keys are working perfect, I really love this tool!!!! Just one question mark is left, but I wont put in any time to solve it: I cant switch the Amp into Standbye mode. Wether Code RC5X:16:061:-1 nor RC5X:16:012:-1 nor RC5X:16:012:02 did show any effect (used both repeating methods, no effect). I suppose, the Amp expects the codes sent in a definitive kind of repeating speed to accept them as Power-Off-Command.
