OK, I seem to have figured it out. I was attempting to simply 'play' from the title of the podcast. I did not realize that you need to go to the next level of the menu, and scroll past 'about this podcast' to get the most current instance of the podcast in order to play something. Slightly odd, but at least it seems more understandable now.
Now on to attempt to get my SB to synchronize with my SoftSqueeze!
