FYI, I use iPeng with SBS on a VortexBox Appliance and the artwork
displays just fine on iPeng, both the large now-playing artwork and the
small thumbnails in the Albums display.

Here are my SBS Settings:

Settings->Advanced->Performance->Artwork resampling: Resample Artwork
(Slower, better quality)
Settings->Advanced->Performance->Artwork Pre-caching: Pre-cache
artwork
Settings->Interface->Thumbnail Size: 100

My iPeng settings:

Big Cover Art: off

My advice:

1. Make sure you have SBS and iPeng set up with the above settings.
2. On the SBS: Go to Settings->Basic Settings->Rescan Library, select
"Clear library and rescan everything", and click Rescan.
3. When the rescan completes, go to iPeng->iPeng Settings and select
Flush Cache.

This has always worked for me.

What machine are you running VortexBox on? Is it a VortexBox Appliance
or a PC? If a PC, what kind? How fast is the processor? How much memory?
Is your artwork embedded in the music files, or in a
cover.jpg/folder.jpg file in the album directory? What size is your
artwork?

I have no embedded artwork and use cover.jpg/folder.jpg files
exclusively. The smallest are 300x300; many are 500x500 and 600x600.

I have bsolutely no issues with artwork display on iPeng with SBS on a
VortexBox Appliance.
