I did most of what you said. To answer your questions: 1. the vortexbox is running on Atom 330 with 2Gb ram. 2. the album is embedded in the file (I used apple lossless) plus a separate cover.jpg in each album directory 3. the original size of the artwork is normally 500x500 (downloaded from Amazon). 4. I'm using VB 1.1/SBS 7.4.2 5. I'm using 8G Ipod Touch with iPeng 1.2.1 As I said, the same iPeng, the same library, there is no problem if I use SqueezeCentre running on Windows.
