Whatever suits you best really. I deliberatrly made SqueezeIR as flexible as possible to allow people to configure it any way they like. The downside is that it can be a pig to configure. I tend to hold Home for power toggle but that's just me.
For input select, if you just have a "next input" button on the original remote then I'd use something like fwd+rew to move through the inputs. If you have seperate codes for each input then I think the best thing is to create a menu of inputs. You create menus in a similar way to profiles except they contain <item> elements instead of <key> elements. You also need to put <menu>name</menu> into the profile so that it knows which is the start menu. There's plenty of examples in the thread. You could even have more than one <action> assigned to the power on <event> so you can switch your amp on AND switch it to the correct input all in one go (hint: <action order="2">). -- indifference_engine ------------------------------------------------------------------------ indifference_engine's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=20698 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=66795 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
