A new applet "Text Clock" is now available for Squeezebox
Controller/Touch/Radio, it's a screen saver that shows the time as
words, for example "quarter past four" instead of "16:15". It's very
similar to the great Time Speller plugin available on the Classic/Boom
players.

See the following wiki page for more information:
http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.php/Text_Clock_applet

It's installed by going to "Settings/Advanced/Applet Installer" on the
Touch, Radio or Controller. In the Applet Installer you will find a
"Text Clock" applet which you need to install. You will in Squeezebox
Server either check the "Show all 3rd party plugins" checkbox or
manually configure my repository, if you don't it won't appear in
"Applet Installer".

Finally, you will need to select "Text Clock" as screensaver on the
Touch, Radio or Controller.

It doesn't have a lot of configuration options at the moment, just a
stupid setting that decides if the time should be shown on a single row
or on three rows.

However, with the latest version of Custom Clock which also is
available now, you can integrate the time text from Text Clock into any
Custom Clock style. So this should hopefully make the customization
options really good.

I'll get back with more information about how it can be integrated with
Custom Clock in the Custom Clock announcement thread.
